PerfectLap
Telemetry Visualised
You shouldn't have to be an engineer to understand where lap time comes from. PerfectLap lets you upload your iRacing telemetry, compare your laps against Garage61 exports, and visualise them with real-time 3D rendering. Compare lines, brake traces, slip angle, tyre temperatures1 and more to intuitively understand how to unlock lap time.

Why does PerfectLap exist?
I've been coaching hundreds of sim racing students full-time for the last two years, while racing as a top 0.8% rated driver myself. I created PerfectLap with one goal: to show everybody what I notice when I'm coaching.
I can see when a line looks wrong, when a driver isn't rotating the car, when they apex too early. And even though conventional telemetry analysis is useful, I don't usually rely on it when coaching — I can see the mistakes. Now, with PerfectLap, you can too…

Key features
Faster laps don't come from more data — they come from understanding it. Every feature here exists for one reason: to make you a quicker driver.
See why they’re faster, not just that they are
When you follow a slightly quicker driver through a corner, you learn something about why they’re faster — it’s why it’s easier to chase a driver than to be chased. Learning that insight from 2D telemetry traces takes an engineer’s eye. PerfectLap lets you learn the way you’d actually drive — in 3D, through the lens of a driver, not an engineer.
Feel the rotation, leave the numbers out
Effective trail braking on corner entry requires rotation, which necessarily generates slip angle. If you’ve looked at telemetry before and noticed you lack mid-corner speed, how you rotate the car — and how much slip angle you carry — will be the reason. Yet almost every telemetry tool ignores it. PerfectLap gives slip angle its own data channel, shows it live, and lets you exaggerate it in the visualiser so you can actually see how a driver rotates through the corner.
See exactly where the best drivers find grip
It’s hard to feel how much a slightly smoother brake release is really worth. G-force racing lines paint it straight onto the track — braking, cornering and acceleration forces in colour, where more intensity means more force. It makes it effortless to see the faster driver smoothly transitioning onto the brakes, against the more sudden, abrupt braking of a slower one.
Find the exact cause of your time loss
Want to know precisely where a single corner costs you? Just click the delta bar and it automatically re-syncs both laps, letting you see exactly where in the corner you lose out.
Know the instant you’re overdriving
Real-time tyre surface temperatures¹ make overworking the car obvious: the moment you push past the limit, exactly which tyre paid for it, and whether the inside, middle or outside of the tread took the punishment. Look after your tyres like the quick drivers do, and keep your pace to the end of the stint.

All the data, none of the homework
Going visual-first doesn’t mean going without data. Every key telemetry graph is right there, updating in real time as the lap plays through. Gaining visual insight doesn’t mean you can’t dive into the traces when you want a more traditional approach to telemetry analysis. Get laps straight from your iRacing folder, or use Garage61 to export a CSV into the PerfectLap viewer.
